          Brandwatch API Connector

          Brandwatch is a Social Media Monitoring Tool that allows your business to analyze and use business conversations from across the social web.

          Prerequisites

          You must provide your Brandwatch username and password. Contact your Brandwatch representative in order to receive these credentials.

          Known Issues

          Due to Twitter’s legal limitations, which block the transfer of their post content to third party applications, you won’t be able to retrieve the detailed content of Twitter Mentions into Marketing Cloud Intelligence - but their associated Measurements are retrieved normally.

          QA Your Data

          • Create the desired report in the Brandwatch UI for the required date range, as follows:
            • Create a New Dashboard.
            • Select the Summary Dashboard Template and the relevant Data Source.
            • When it’s generated, click the Mentions tab.
            • Add the relevant fields to the table by clicking Columns to the right of the screen.
            • Click Apply
          • Next, process the relevant Data Stream in Marketing Cloud Intelligence for the same report as was selected in the ‘Data Source’ field in Brandwatch and date range.
          • Create a Report/Table Widget/Pivot Table within Intelligence containing the exact same Dimensions and Measurements for the same report and date range.
          • Compare the Measurement Totals and make sure they’re aligned.
