When you activate a promotion that uses the pricing promotion template, a set of
records is created and associated with the promotion record. The associated records track the
promotion’s eligibility criteria and limits. If a pricing promotion is associated with a
Marketing Cloud Engagement business unit and you activate the promotion’s launch email, a
journey is automatically created for the promotion in the business unit.
Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited,
and Developer Editions with Real-Time Offer Management
Review the Promotion’s Eligibility Records
On the Eligibility tab of the promotion record, you can review:
The list of products and categories that are eligible for the promotion
The list of channels that are eligible for the promotion
The list of Data Cloud segments that consist of the promotion’s target audience
If your promotion’s target audience belongs to a campaign, then the campaign is associated
with the promotion by using the Campaign field in the promotion record.
Review the Promotion’s Enrollment Requirement Status
On the
Overview tab of the promotion, check the promotion’s eligibility for enrollment and its
enrollment window.
Review the Promotion’s Limit Records
On the Limits tab of the promotion record, review the details of each promotion-level limit
and customer-level that you have set for the promotion.
Review the Promotion's Journey
On the Journeys Dashboard of the Engagement business unit associated with the promotion, you can
view the promotion's journey. To help you uniquely identify your promotion's journey, the
journeys are named as Launch Promotion and suffixed with the ID of the promotion. The journeys
contain only one activity, the launch email. The journey automatically sends the promotion
launch email to the promotion’s target audience.
After the journey is created, you receive an in-app notification in Salesforce CRM org. You also
get an in-app notification if the journey isn’t created in the Engagement business unit due to
an error.
