Quick Promotion Wizard Steps
Each step of the Quick Promotion wizard provides marketing managers a set of options to design promotions based on their company’s marketing strategy. Review the configuration options of each step to understand how you can get the most out of the Quick Promotion wizard.
- Enter Primary Information
On the first step of the Quick Promotion wizard, marketing managers enter the promotion’s name, duration, code, and business unit. - Define Promotion Eligibility
On the Define Promotion Eligibility step in the Quick Promotion guided flow, marketing managers decide the products, channels, customer groups, and customer events that are eligible for the promotion. Marketing managers also decide whether customers must sign up for the promotion before they can use it. They can also choose to add coupons to the promotion. - Select Promotion Template
The Select Promotion Template step in the guided flow lists the pricing promotion templates that marketing managers use and the loyalty templates that program managers use to create the promotion’s rules. - Configure Promotion Template
On the Configure Promotion Template step, marketing managers configure a promotion rule based on the template that they selected in the Select Promotion Template step. - Add Promotion Limits
To keep the promotion within the approved budget and prevent malicious activities, on the Add Promotion Limits step of the wizard, marketing managers can set promotion limits for the whole promotion and for individual customers. - Design Distribution Assets
On the Design Distribution Assets step of the wizard, marketing managers can design and activate the launch email for pricing promotions. Marketing managers get a predefined email and they can customize the email based on the promotion’s branding requirements. To personalize the email for customers, marketing managers can add promotion and contact merge fields. - Review and Activate Promotion
On the Review and Activate step of the wizard, marketing managers can review the promotion’s complete configuration before they activate the promotion. If the promotion needs a business executive’s approval before activation, marketing managers can save the promotion.
