What Customers Do Section in the Build Your Own Promotion Template
Decide the eligibility criteria of the promotion rule using condition-based criteria, product attribute-based criteria, and an aggregate condition in a combination of your choice.

| 1 | No qualification criteria checkbox | Select this checkbox if your promotion rule doesn't have a qualification criteria for customers. If there’s no rule qualification criteria, then customer carts that are eligible for the promotion are also eligible for the rule. |
| 2 | Rule criterion | Add conditions in a criterion that decide when a customer cart is eligible for the promotion. You can decide the logic for the conditions in a criteria and add multiple criteria in a rule. |
| 3 | Product attribute-based criterion | Define the attribute conditions that decide when a customer cart is eligible. A cart is only eligible when the cart contains a product that matches the product attribute conditions. If a condition uses the cartLineProductCategoryList__std attribute, enter the category ID instead of the category name as the value. |

Use the Add Criteria button to add a criteria and use the Add Custom Criteria button to select the product and attributes for which you want to add a product attribute-based rule. |
| 5 | Aggregation condition | Add an aggregate condition for the rule. The aggregate rule helps the rule evaluation the cart against an aggregated value of your choice. |
