Use the Buy X, Get Unit Price Discount on Y + Rewards promotion template to offer customers a discount on the unit price of a specific product or products from a specific category.

Provide Unit Quantity Discounts and Buy-One-Get-One Promotions
Use the Buy X, Get Unit Price Discount on Y + Rewards template to design promotion rules that provide customers free or discounted products based on the number of units purchased. You can use this template only after you turn on Promotion Evaluation and Execution in your org.
Here are a few ways that you can offer customers free products or discount on a specified number of units.
- Customers get 2 free units of a product with every purchase of 2 units of that product.
- Customers get 2 free units of a product with every purchase of 2 units of another product.
- Customers get 2 free units from a category with every purchase of 2 units from that category.
- Customers get 1 free unit from a category with every purchase of 2 units of one product and with every purchase of 1 unit from another category.
- Customers get 5% off on the unit price of 2 units from a specific category with every purchase of 2 units from any eligible category.
- Customers get $20 off on the unit price of 2 units of a product with every purchase of 2 units of any eligible product.
- Customers are eligible for $30 off on 2 units from a category with every purchase of 2 units from any eligible category except one category.
Buy X, Get Unit Price Discount on Y + Rewards Template Without Promotion Evaluation and Execution
In orgs where Promotion Evaluation and Execution is turned off, use the Buy X, Get Unit Price Discount on Y + Rewards template. Design promotion rules with this template to cover all eligible products or categories.
Here are a few ways that you can offer discounts on all eligible products or categories:
- Customers get $20 off all eligible categories or products with an $80 purchase from any eligible category.
- Customers get 10% off all eligible categories or products when they purchase 2 units of eligible products.
- Customers get all eligible products or categories for $80 with a $200 purchase from any eligible category.
