Set Up Data Cloud for Global Promotions Management

Install the Global Promotions Management data stream bundle to send data from Global Promotions Management objects to Data Cloud.

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Real-Time Offer Management and Data Cloud
User Permissions Needed
To set up Data Cloud: Data Cloud Architect permission set

Data Cloud contains a list of unmapped DMOs for Global Promotions Management objects. After you install the data stream bundle, DLOs with field mappings are added to Data Cloud and associated with their corresponding DMOs.

Note To use Data Governance features, grant permissions to the listed objects per your chosen policy according to Assign Data Access. If you have more than one data space, you must grant access to objects in each data space. Object names in non default data spaces follow the convention of <DataSpace Prefix>_<Object Name>.
  1. If it's not automatically provisioned, manually enable Data Cloud in the Salesforce org.
  2. Install the data stream bundle.
    • If you have a Real-Time Offer Management license, install the Global Promotions Management bundle.
    • If you have access only to Global Promotions Management, install the Global Promotions Management Basic bundle.
  3. Provide the Data Cloud Salesforce Connector permission set Read and View All Records access to the Global Promotions Management objects for which preconfigured data streams are provided.
