Set Up Data Cloud Segment Verification for Promotions
Specify the mechanism that APIs and automated processes use to check segment membership
to identify eligible promotions. When you use APIs, such as the Eligible Promotions List API,
they use the specified mechanism to identify the Data Cloud segments that the customer is a part
of.

and Developer Editions with Real-Time Offer Management and Data Cloud
Note You can select members from Data Cloud segments across multiple data spaces.
For best results, select your promotion's target audience from segments found within one data
space.

segment verification:
Query API for multiple data spaces
Data graphs
Important You can use data graphs for segment verification only
when your org has Loyalty Management. See Create Data Graphs for Promotions Segment
Verification. However, we recommend that you use Query API for multiple data
spaces.
Requirements to Use Query API for Segment Verification
Complete the prerequisites required to
use Data Cloud segments as promotion target audience. Using the Query API doesn’t require
any additional configuration.
