            Audience Builder Channels

            Audience Builder can add filters to your overall population, such as by channel. When Marketing Cloud Engagement includes more than one channel-activated application, the channel selector filter appears in the Filter tab.

            Channel Name Channel Application Population Effect
            Email Email Studio
            • This option preselects all subscribers associated with Email Studio.
            • The publish action creates an audience data extension in Email Studio.
            MobileConnect MobileConnect
            • This option preselects all subscribers associated with the MobileConnect application.
            • The publish action creates a contact list in the MobileConnect application.
            MobilePush MobilePush
            • This option preselects all subscribers associated with the MobilePush application.
            • The publish action creates a contact list in the MobilePush application.
            Entire Population None
            • This option removes all selection criteria from the filter.
            • The publish action creates a non-sendable audience data extension in Email Studio.
            • The starting population includes subscribers from all channels available in Audience Builder.
            Salesforce Salesforce - Sales Cloud
            • This option creates a sendable Salesforce data extension.
            • This option only sends tracking data back to Salesforce for subscribers with Salesforce contact or lead IDs.
