          Send - Append Attributes to the Audience for Easier Email Creation

          Northern Trail Outfitters wants to use Audience Builder to personalize a message by adding the subscriber's age without writing complex AMPscript or executing a query activity to join data relational data in the system.

          1. Select an audience.
          2. To modify a segment, click the Segment tab.
          3. To set the age range, open the Camping segment and drag in Age Range = Equals.

          4. To set an age range of 20 to 50 years, select Range from the dropdown menu, enter the appropriate values, and label your criteria.

          5. Click Done.
          6. Click Refresh.
          7. Click the Publish tab.
          8. Deselect the Cyclists and Remainder check boxes.
          9. Navigate to Append Attributes.
          10. Click Edit Icon next to Demographics.

            Admins can view the Edit Attribute Set dialogue. Edit Attribute Set Audience Builder already created the Demographics set by selecting ABCUSTOMER and choosing Gender and AGE_Range. Add a value for the Attribute Set Name label as necessary.
          11. To close the dialog box, click X or Save.
          12. With the Demographics Attribute Set checked, click Refresh and Publish.
          13. Navigate to the published audience in the Subscribers tab. Find that audience in the specified folder in Audiences under Data Extension. The Campers contacts now include columns and data for AGE_RANGE and Gender. Use these column names in the audience.
          14. To edit the content of email for this audience, include these column names into your personalization strings using %%AGE_RANGE%% or %%GENDER%%.
