Create a Population in Contact Builder

Create a population in Marketing Cloud Engagement Contact Builder.

  1. From Contact Builder, open Data Designer.
  2. Click the arrow next to Create Attribute Group and select Create Population.
  3. Follow the prompts to select a data extension in Contact Builder.
    Use a data extension with a primary key value and link to the contact record on the Contact ID or Contact Key attribute. A population requires a 1:1 relationship. You can’t link a data extension set as a population to an attribute set.
