Create an SMS Send Logging Data Extension
Follow these steps to create an SMS send logging data extension in Contact Builder.
- Click Data Extensions.
- Click Create.
- Choose the Create From Template option in the dropdown menu.
- Choose SmsSendLog and click Done.
- Click Select.
- Enter the name, external key, and description for this data extension.
- Leave the checkbox next to Is Sendable? unchecked.
- Click Next.
- Enter any applicable data retention policy information and click Next.
- Create fields for list attributes or data extension fields to
record in the send logging data extension. By default,
the application adds these fields.
- SMSJobID
- SMSTriggeredSendID
- BatchID
- SubID
- Click Complete.
