Create Mobile Contacts in Contact Builder
You can create mobile channel lists in Contact Builder. For multichannel mobile customers, creating the mobile lists in Contact Builder streamlines the contact creation process.
- This feature applies to customers who have one or more mobile channels provisioned.
- Creating lists in Contact Builder alleviates the need to create lists in multiple Mobile Studios. All tasks associated with contact management, including audience creation, are performed in Contact Builder.
- In Contact Builder, navigate to All Contacts. If you have any mobile channel provisioned for your account, you see the new Mobile Lists tab. Email-only customers don’t see this tab.
- In Contact Builder All Contacts, click the Mobile Lists tab.
- Click the Create Mobile List button.
- Select a Channel from the dropdown.

Choose to build the list from the Filtered List method or the Create from File
method.
Note If you choose the WhatsApp channel, Filtered List is your only option. - Click OK.
