Interact with Synchronized Fields
Synchronized fields represent entities that are synchronizing data with Marketing Cloud Engagement.
Changing a data extension’s synced fields affects the data that’s available to other Engagement apps. Before you change the sync settings, make sure that the changes don’t impact other activities.
- In Contact Builder, click Synchronized.
- To add or remove the fields that sync between your Contact Builder configuration and the data source, click Edit Fields.
- Click the checkbox next to the fields that you want to synchronize.
- Save your work, and allow some time for the sync process to complete.
Synchronized Data Sources detects the fields deleted from the original source and logs a warning, but continues syncing the data. The warning provides time for you to review the data. Synchronized Data Sources also attempts to resolve numbers that are out of bounds and dates that are before 1/1/1754.
