Add Free Form Content

To add text, links, images, and more, use the free form content block in Content Builder.

Tip

HTML code pasted from Word can cause formatting changes that affect your email preview. To prevent formatting problems, use Paste from Word to paste from Notepad or Word Document.

When using HTML in a Text block or Free Form block, use valid HTML 4.

Because the editor can modify the HTML in these blocks to standardize the editor view display, consider using the HTML block or Code Snippets if this is an issue.

1. Type content in the editor window on the left side of the screen.
2. Use the editor toolbar controls to format and style your text.
3. To display toolbar controls, click .
4. Use the insert control to add system links and HTML elements.
5. Use the insert attributes controls to add personalization.
6. To insert tables, anchors, and links, use a text content block.
7. To insert an image, click the image control.
