Create a Push Notification in Content Builder

Create a Journey Builder push notification in Marketing Cloud Engagement Content Builder. You can also use the Content Builder editor in Journey Builder to create and send a MobilePush message.

Note Make sure your users are on SDK version 9.0 and later to enable Carousel messages and sound files on iOS and Android devices. For Android devices, SDK version 9.0 or higher is also required to configure custom small and large icons and interactive buttons.

Create advanced push notifications that engage your audience by using templates with multiple images and customizable buttons and text. With the Standard template, you can create a push notification with one media attachment, including an image, video, or GIF. With the Carousel template, you can create a push notification with up to six images.

Note Journey Builder push notifications are no longer created in MobilePush. Instead, create your Journey Builder push notifications without leaving Journey Builder.

• Create and Send a Standard Push Notification
  Use the Standard template to create a push notification with one media attachment, that includes an image, video, or audio file, to make it more engaging. Add customizable buttons for Android devices. Specify custom sound for Android and iOS.
• Create and Send a Carousel Push Notification
  Use the Carousel template to create a push notification that can have up to six images. This lets you show multiple images in one notification.
