Enhanced Dynamic Content Import File
Use this information to prepare your import file to create enhanced dynamic content in Content Builder.
- Ensure that your file is a comma, semicolon, or tab-delimited file. In the import flow, you can select the delimiter and whether to respect double quotes as a text qualifier.
- Use only text or image URLs in your file. The system reads the first row of data and sets the dynamic content as either Text or Image. You can change the type or exclude the row in the import flow.
- The column header row contains the names of the dynamic content the system creates. Each column is saved as an Enhanced Dynamic Content Map in the content library, and you can add these to a message from the Content tab of the editor. You can review and edit these names in the import flow.
- The system sets the first text column as the default primary key. A primary key is a table column that you designate as the unique identifier for all records in the file. For example, a language column can be a primary key that uniquely identifies all languages in the file. During the import flow or message creation, you link this column to a column in an audience data extension or profile attribute.
- To set a row as the default content, enter default as the row value in the column you select as the primary key. If you don’t include this row, the system uses the first row as default content.
