Use a Text Content Block

Use the text content block to create text-based reusable email content in Content Builder

1. Type content in the editor window.
2. Use editor controls to format and style your text.
   1. To display more toolbar controls, click .
   2. Use to add system links and HTML elements.
   3. Use to add personalization.
   

   Tip

   HTML code pasted from Word can cause formatting changes that affect your email preview. To prevent formatting problems, use Paste from Word to paste from Notepad or Word Document.

   When using HTML in a Text block or Free Form block, use valid HTML 4.

   Because the editor can modify the HTML in these blocks to standardize the editor view display, consider using the HTML block or Code Snippets if this is an issue.

   

   Note

   The text content block outputs HTML, not plain text. To output text-only, Create a Code Snippet.
