Use a Smart Capture Form in Journey Builder
You can initiate activities after someone submits a Smart Capture form on a landing page. For example, send a confirmation email or add the person as a lead or contact in Sales Cloud. You can add a Smart Capture form only to a multistep journey.
If your journey includes an email, before you activate the journey, complete the email's Content Detective and Validation steps. Use each Smart Capture form one time per journey.
- Create a landing page that contains a Smart Capture form block.
- In Journey Builder, create a multistep journey.
- Select the CloudPages entry source, and drag it to the entry source target.

Define the entry source.
- Click the entry source icon.
- Select the form from the list, and then click Next.
- Review the summary, and then click Done.
- Drag in other activities and controls to configure the journey.
If you’re using a Smart Capture form as a trigger event, configure the re-entry step, and the default channel address in the journey’s settings.
