Add A Distributed Marketing Rich Text Block

Follow these steps to add the Distributed Marketing rich text block to Content Builder.

Required Editions

User Permissions Needed
To add the Distributed Marketing Rich Text Block: Installed Package | Administer permission.
  1. In Marketing Cloud Engagement, navigate to Setup.
  2. Select Apps under Platform Tools.
  3. Select Installed Package.
  4. Select the Distributed Marketing Package, such as Distributed Marketing.
  5. Select Add Component.
  6. Select Custom Content Block.
  7. Select Next.
  8. Name the block. For example: Distributed Rich Text.
  9. Add a description. For example: Allow DM business users to enter formatted text.
  10. Click the appropriate link. A window opens showing the URL you must copy and paste into your browser.
    1. If your organization uses Hyperforce, use this link: https://distributed-marketing-content-blocks.s1.marketingcloudapps.com/rich-text-block/v1/
    2. If your organization doesn't use Hyperforce, use this link: https://distributed-marketing-content-blocks.{{stackKey}}.marketingcloudapps.com/rich-text-block/v1/
