Messages Types in GroupConnect

GroupConnect Message Types

You can create the following types of messages in GroupConnect.

• Follow message – Use this message type to welcome new contacts and request attribute information.
• Outbound message – Use this message type to send a message to a contact. Examples of this type of message include promotions, alerts, or rich media messages.
• Response message – Use this message type to automatically respond to a message sent by a contact, using either a targeted or random message.

You can also create carousel and multi-content messages in Journey Builder or Contact Builder.
