Opt-ins and Opt-outs
GroupConnect recognizes opt-ins and opt-outs based on information from the messaging app. The app provides user information when the opt-in initially takes place, and GroupConnect stores that information in the contact record. If a contact opts out of receiving further information, the messaging app relays that opt-out to GroupConnect and deletes any applicable information from the contact record.
