            Create a Marketing Intelligence Goal (Beta)

            Create a goal to make informed decisions that drive success. Goals help you set clear KPIs, track, and measure key metrics, experiment with different marketing channels, and understand the customer journey.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited and Developer Editions.

            To create a Marketing Intelligence Goal Marketing Intelligence Admin
            Note
            Note Marketing Intelligence Goals is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer's sole discretion.

            Use Marketing Intelligence Feature Manager to turn on Goals, or ask your admin to do it for you.

            1. In Marketing Intelligence, on the Goals tab, click Create a Goal.
            2. Select the metric that you want to target.
            3. Select the channel you want to base the goal on. You can select multiple channels.
            4. Add additional filters.
            5. Define the goal’s target value.
            6. Select the goal type you want to use.
            7. Enter the goal’s start and end dates.
            8. Preview your goal in the preview window.
            9. Review the goal and its settings, then click Save.

            The new goal appears in the Goals Overview list and can be modified as needed.
