          Custom Connectors for Marketing Intelligence

          Custom Connectors for Marketing Intelligence

Marketing Intelligence includes a prebuilt connector library for popular ad platforms and analytics tools. Custom connectors extend this library to ingest data from sources with specific reporting requirements, custom configurations, or fields that aren't available in standard connectors. Configure a custom connector to define exactly what data to extract, including specific dimensions and metrics. Map fields manually to align data with the Marketing Intelligence semantic data model.

When to Use a Custom Connector

Use a custom connector in these scenarios.

          • Standard connectors don't expose required fields, such as custom events or platform-specific parameters.
          • Standard connectors return more data than required, and you want to retrieve specific fields only.

When Not to Use a Custom Connector

Avoid a custom connector when the standard connector supports the data source and includes the required fields. Use a prebuilt connector instead.

          Available Custom Connectors

Marketing Intelligence offers custom connector options for the following platforms:

          • Adobe Analytics Custom
          • Google Ads Custom
          • Google Analytics Custom
          • Meta Ads Custom

When creating a data pipeline, select the Custom tab to access these custom configuration options.
