            Set Up the Paid Media Optimization Agent (Beta)

            Use the The Paid Media Optimization Agent to review underperforming ads, see pause recommendations, and pause ads directly from Marketing Intelligence in supported channels. The agent helps you optimize campaigns and manage budgets without switching between reports or dashboards.

            Required Editions

            Note
            Note Paid Media Optimization Agent is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and the Non-GA Credit Consumption, Non-GA Gen AI, and the Non-GA Open AI LLM Provider terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer's sole discretion.
            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with the Einstein for Sales, Einstein for Service, or Einstein Platform add-ons, and in Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Marketing Cloud Next.
            User Permissions Needed
            To create an AI Agent:

            Manage AI Agents and Manage Agentforce Employee Agents

            OR

            Customize Application
            To set up Paid Media Optimization agent:

            Marketing Intelligence Admin permission set
            1. Enable Agentforce in Marketing Intelligence.
              1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter and select Marketing Intelligence.
              2. On the Feature Manager tab, enable Agentforce.
            2. Turn on Agentforce Agents.
              1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter and select Agentforce Agents.
              2. Click New Agent.
              3. Select Paid Media Optimization Agent, and then click Next.
              4. Click Next.
              5. Enter your company details.
              6. Click Next.
              7. Select the language and tone of your agent's responses.
              8. Click Create.
            3. To turn on the Paid Media Optimization Agent, click Activate.
            4. Manage Agentforce Employee Agent (AEA) access.
