Create an SMS Keyword Opt-Out Message in MobileConnect
Use the SMS Keyword Opt-out template to unsubscribe Australian contacts and subscribers from receiving SMS messages in MobileConnect.
SMS Keyword Opt-out is available for long codes used for Australian contacts and subscribers.
- On the MobileConnect Overview screen, click Create Message.
- Select the SMS Keyword Opt-Out template.
- Enter a name for the message.
- Select the long code to use.
- Select or create the keyword.
- Select whether you want the message to appear as sent from the long code or a from name.
- Select Unsubscribe from Keyword.
- Move to the next page.
- Enter the messages.
- Enter the rest of the information.
- Move to the next page and review the message information.
- Set the dates that the message is active.
- Set the keyword response window, which is the time period that the message interacts with incoming messages.
- Schedule or send the message.
