Create a Filtered List

A filtered list is a list of contacts who are filtered based on their demographic or interest data, such as ZIP code, income, products purchased, or birth date. In MobilePush for Marketing Cloud Engagement, you can use a filtered list to send push messages to a specific audience based on their demographics, such as age, gender, or interests.

1. To open Contacts within MobilePush, click Manage
2. Click Lists.
3. Click Create List.
4. Select the filtered list method.
5. Navigate to a MobilePush Demographics attribute within the Attributes folders.
6. Drag the MobilePush attribute into the Filter.
7. Set the filter operator and value. For example, enter ZIP Code equals 46202 to target subscribers from a section of Indianapolis.
8. Repeat for any additional attributes to add to the filter.
9. To switch between AND and OR for the attributes within the filter, click the AND dropdown. AND means that contacts must meet all the conditions to be included in the filtered list. OR means that contacts must meet any one of the conditions.
10. Drag attributes to rearrange, and click the rectangles next to those attributes to set up AND or OR values for those attributes within the larger AND or OR value.
11. Click Save & Build.
12. Enter a name for the list.
13. Save the list.
