Create a Rich Notification

Create rich notifications in MobilePush for Marketing Cloud Engagement. Rich notifications include images, video, or sound. If the device cannot load the image, video, or sound, the notification displays without the media. iOS devices must use iOS 10 or later to receive rich notifications. Apple and Google control rich notification dimensions and scaling.

1. Create a new message in MobilePush.
   

   Note Rich media can be added to any template (Outbound, Location Entry, Location Exit, Beacon, or Inbox).
   • On the Define Content screen, enter the URL of the media in the iOS field for your iOS app and in the Android field for your Android app. The URL must include HTTPS.
   • Preview the media in the on-screen previewer.
2. Schedule, send, or activate the message.
