Run the MobilePush Detail Extract Report

Use the MobilePush Detail Extract report to extract large amounts of data. The extract report counts only unique opens. The data extract places a ZIP file with the analytics information on an FTP site that you choose.

Note If you don’t see the MobilePush Detail Extract Report type, contact your account representative.

1. Under Journey Builder, select Automation Studio.
2. On the Activities screen, click Create Activity.
3. Select Data Extract.
4. Enter the name and file naming pattern. The name is case-sensitive.
   

   Note The file must be ZIP format with the suffix .zip

   

   Tip The system assigns an external key if you leave that field blank.
5. Select the MobilePush Detail Extract Report type.
6. Select the date range for the data.
7. Enter the name of the app, the name of the campaign, the name of the message, and the name of the platform, which is iPhone OS or Android OS. You can also leave these fields blank.
8. Review and finish the extract.
9. On the Activities screen, find the extract under Data Extract.
10. Click next to the extract and select Run Once.
11. Use the File Transfer activity to move the output file to the location you choose.
    

    Tip You can use Automation Studio to automate the creation and transfer processes for this data extract.
