Advanced Audit Trail Metrics
Advanced Audit Trail is available as an add-on. It includes all the metrics that Basic Audit Trail provides, and extra metrics related to channels, sites, analytics, and automations. Advanced Audit Trail retains data for 60 days.

Setup Metrics
Advanced Audit Trail logs all the setup metrics that Basic Audit Trail logs, and also includes these metrics:
- User agents
- Session IDs
- Changes to business units
Email Studio Metrics
Advanced Audit Trail logs the username and timestamp for edits to Email Studio content.
CloudPages Metrics
Advanced Audit Trail logs the username and timestamp for these actions on CloudPages content and collections:
- Creation
- Modification
- Publishing
- Unpublishing
- Deletion
MobilePush Metrics
Advanced Audit Trail logs the username and timestamp for changes to MobilePush content.
MobileConnect Metrics
Advanced Audit Trail logs the username and timestamp for successful edits to SMS content. It doesn’t log failed SMS edits, and doesn’t provide a before-and-after comparison of successful edits.
Google Analytics Integration Metrics
Advanced Audit Trail logs these changes to your Google Analytics Integration configuration:
- Linking or unlinking a Google Analytics account to Marketing Cloud Engagement
- Linking or unlinking a Marketing Cloud Engagement account to Google Analytics
- Changes to the Google Analytics Account, Property, and Views configuration
- Changes to UTM parameters
Journey Builder and Automation Studio Metrics
Advanced Audit Trail logs the user and action for these journey and automation events:
- Automation: start, stop, pause, schedule, delete, copy, and skip
- Schedule: delete, pause, update, and update time
- Activity: save and update
- File trigger: publish and delete
- Notification: update and delete
- File transfer, data copy, data import, query, script, extracts, reports, wait, and data verification activities: create, update, and delete
- Journey entry: audience and event trigger
- GroupConnect: send
Data Extension Metrics
Advanced Audit Trail logs the username and timestamp for these data extension events:
- Viewing data in a data extension
- Creating an import definition in Email Studio, Contact Builder, or Automation Studio
- Creating an import definition with REST API
- Creating an export definition in Email Studio or Contact Builder
