To archive or restore ETL files: Feeds role with Cancel permissions

When archiving ETL files, keep these considerations in mind:

          • The ability to archive ETL job files requires a Feeds role with Cancel permissions enabled. See Verify Feeds Role Permission Settings.
          • You can restore archived SFTP files. However, restoring archived Data 360 files isn’t supported. To re-initiate a CDP Activation ETL, we recommend reinitiating the activation on Data 360 using the same configuration.

To archive SFTP or Data 360 files:

          1. From the main navigation, select Feeds | SFTP Files or Feeds | Data Cloud Files.
          2. Click the the /inbound or Salesforce-Genie-Activation/meta-data directory.
          3. Select one or more files that you want to archive. You can archive up to 50 files at a time.

The Archive button appears in the upper right corner of the page.

          4. Click Archive.

The system moves the selected files to the /archived directory.

You can restore up to 50 SFTP files at a time by selecting them from the /archived directory and clicking Restore.
