How Canceled Files are Affected
How canceled files are affected depends on the state of the job at the time it’s canceled.
| Job State | Affect |
|---|---|
| Running | Job files automatically move from the/processing directory to the /failed directory. |
| Queued | Though queued jobs are cancelled, their associated files remain in the inbound folder. If the feed is re-enabled, any files in the inbound folder are picked up and processed. |
Note Files in all directories are automatically deleted after their
retention period expires. See Limits for Marketing Cloud Personalization for file retention
limits.
