Create a Filtered Measurement

Create a filtered measurement to customize a measurement to include only information correlating with certain dimensional attributes. The filtered measurement is a separate measurement and does not affect the original measurement it is based on.

1. From the Harmonize tab, select Calculated Fields, and then Filtered Measurements.
2. Click Add New.
3. Define the general details:
   1. Name the filtered measurement.
   2. Select the measurement you want to filter.
   3. Add a symbol and color to appear next to the filtered measurement in reports.
4. To filter the filtered measurement by a specific date range, in the Filter section, select Time Period, and then select the date range.
5. To add a filter to your filtered measurement click Add Filter and define the filter. For example, a filter allows you to apply the filtered measurement to a specific data stream.
   

   Note To save your filtered measurement you must select a time period or add a filter.
6. Save your filtered measurement.
