Key Concepts
To help you get the most out of generating and using agentic content, get familiar with key concepts.
- Workspace
- An environment where you create, iterate, and manage multichannel content generated from a single prompt and supporting grounding information. A workspace groups all of your message content options generated from a single prompt.
- Grounding
- Information and documentation that provide context for generating relevant content. Grounding helps shape your content so that it aligns with your organization and campaign goals. When generating agentic content, you can use a brief record, a brand, and other existing PDF documents for grounding.
- Brand
- In Marketing Cloud, a brand represents your company's identity, including its colors, fonts, button styles, and tone. It helps ensure a consistent look and feel across all marketing content. You can create and save a brand in Salesforce CMS. When the agent generates content, the brand drives the visual design and text that reflects your company's personality and voice. See Brand Your Content in Marketing Cloud Next.
- Brief
- A Salesforce record that defines campaign goals, target audience, measures, key messages, and calls to action. A brief helps to generate engaging and relevant content for your campaigns.
- Assets / Asset Library
- Add images from CMS or upload images from your system for use in content in your current workspace.
- Canvas
- Visual editing area with zoom, pan, and drag and drop functionality.
- Variant
- An alternate version of a generated message. You can publish one or more approved variants from your agentic content workspace to Salesforce CMS so they're available to use in campaigns for testing or specific audiences. Variants help you test different creative directions and audience strategies while keeping the same campaign context and grounding.
