Create an Agent from the Distributed Marketing Agent Template
The Distributed Marketing agent helps non-marketing users prioritize follow-ups. From
any lead or contact record, ask the agent to identify top-engaged customers or show marketing
engagement data. Plus, discover recent marketer-approved email templates to personalize and
send.
For the template type, select Distributed Marketing Agent.
Give your agent a name and select Let’s Go.
To give non-marketing users access to the Distributed Marketing agent, go to
Setup and add the agent to a permission set or profile. See Manage Employee Agent Access.
You can create a new permission set or profile, or you can add to an existing one.
Remember to assign this permission set to your own admin profile.
Log out and log back in to make sure the Distributed Marketing agent and its permissions are
active.
Test Your Agent
Your Distributed Marketing agent already includes subagents and their standard actions.
From Agentforce Studio, click on a subagent to open its details. Then preview to test your agent
and confirm that it performs as expected.
To use the agent:
Go to the Contacts tab and open a specific record.
To open the Agentforce chat window, click the Agentforce
icon.
Enter a prompt with as much detail as possible to ensure that the Distributed Marketing
agent generates an accurate response.
For example, use prompts like:
Retrieve engagement activities for this contact.
Show recent email templates for campaigns.
Find top scores across scoring models.
Review and confirm the agent’s response.
