Hard Bounce Management

Hard Bounce Management

Salesforce marketing apps automatically suppress hard bounces to prevent sends to invalid addresses. Although suppression protects your sender reputation while retaining the record data for reporting and analytics, it's not intended to replace long-term data hygiene. Plan to remove hard-bounced email addresses from your data regularly.

Automate Recurring Tasks

Because the platforms handle suppression automatically, they don't include native reminder features specifically for deleting hard bounces. However, you can configure automations or recurring tasks to review, manage, or delete these records.

Each Salesforce Marketing app product handles removals and reminders differently, review the specific implementation documentation for your product.
