Post Content to Common Assets
Before you post your content to common assets, finalize your content and make sure that it's ready for use by other business units. After posting, any update you make to the content in your business unit doesn't reflect in common assets. Posted content includes linked images and text from the original content, but merge fields are converted to placeholders.
- In the Marketing app, go to the Content tab and open your business unit's workspace.
- Select the content item you want to post.
-
Click the dropdown menu and select Post to Common
Assets.
You can also access this option from the content detail page by clicking the dropdown next to Edit Details.
-
If required, edit the content name and add a description to help others
understand the content.
Renaming this content updates its display name in common assets only, and not in the source workspace.
- Click Post.
Copy Content from Common Assets
Copy content from common assets to your business unit's workspace.
When you copy content from common assets, a new copy is created in your workspace. The original content in common assets and the source business unit remains unchanged.
- In the Marketing app, go to the Common Assets tab.
- Select the content item you want to copy.
- Click the dropdown menu and select Copy to your Business Unit.
