Send Offer Emails from Marketing Cloud Next with Outbound Engagement
Marketing managers get a communication template with an offer launch email and a
follow-up reminder email. After an offer is ready for activation, marketing managers can create an
outbound engagement to automate email delivery to offer target audiences.

Offer Management and Marketing Cloud Next
User Permissions Needed
To create an outbound engagement for offers:
Offer Designer permission set
AND
View and Edit permissions on Outbound
Engagement Content Resource
From the Outbound Engagement component, click Start.
Select Offer Launch Emails and click
Next.
Enter the details of the campaign.
For target audience:
From Audience Type, select Specific Segment.
From Data Cloud Segment, select the offer target audiences to send emails to.
You can't select segments other than the ones that are selected as the offer target
audience.
Click Done.
It takes a couple of minutes to create the campaign and the flow that sends the
offer emails. After the campaign is created, you’re redirected to the campaign
page.
From the Flows tab, you can:
Open the flow that sends the offer emails and customize the flow logic based on the
offer's activation requirements.
Edit the emails and customize them based on your company's branding, voice, and
tone.
After your flow and its emails are ready, activate the flow.
After the campaign flow is active, emails are automatically sent to the target audience
based on the flow configuration.
