          1. Role-Based Permissions for Offer Management
Salesforce admins manage access to Offer Management features by assigning permissions based on a user's specific responsibilities. Within the Offer Management ecosystem, admins must provide themselves, marketing managers, creative designers, and system integrators with the necessary permissions to design, approve, and distribute offers. Depending on the user’s role, determine which permission sets are assigned to users.
          2. Create Picklist Values for Offer Status
Real-Time Offer Management provides default status picklist values that define the common stages in an offer lifecycle. If necessary, create additional picklist values that define offer status and represent stages in approval workflows.
          3. Create Offer Record Types
To simplify creation, to support decisioning when recommending offers, and to improve reporting, create record types for offer categories before marketing managers create offers. Each record type provides the page layouts, fields, and picklist values for that category. For example, if your company provides offers for credit cards and loans, create a record type for each offer category.
          4. Create Engagement Channel Types
Engagement channel types define the supported output formats for each channel. To ensure offer treatments use the correct output format, create engagement channel types before marketing managers create treatments.
          5. Data 360 for Offer Management
Marketing teams use customer segments from Data 360 to define target audiences for offers. Sync offer details such as validity period, coupon code, and eligible products in Data 360. Users who work with Salesforce Personalization use offer, offer treatment, and profile data from Data 360 to create rules that recommend offers to customers.
          6. Advanced Approvals for Offers
After finalizing an offer and its treatment, the marketing team initiates a review and approval cycle that typically spans multiple departments. This includes teams such as marketing, finance, content, compliance, and legal to ensure regulatory adherence and quality. The review process can also include collaboration with external agencies. To accelerate approval process setup, Offer Management provides a set of preconfigured flow templates. Admins can clone these templates and customize the flow logic to mirror the company’s offer approval stages. To trigger the approval process, the admin can configure a simple automation.
          7. Offer Personalization Setup
Use Salesforce Personalization to identify and deliver the most relevant offers to customers based on their unique profiles and real-time activity.
          8. Offer Communication Setup
The marketing team can automate the process of sending offer emails by using either Marketing Cloud Next or Marketing Cloud Engagement. Complete the setup that's required to send offer emails.
          9. Run Offers on Experience Cloud
You can run and display offers on Experience Cloud sites for your logged-in customers and partners.
