Map a Campaign Using Web Personalization Manager

Before you can use a campaign, you must map it to a channel location. You can then test the campaign using the Web Personalization Manager (WPM).

          To map a personalization campaign:

          1. If you are finishing mapping a location for a new campaign, skip to step 5.
          2. From the App Launcher, search for and select Personalization Campaigns.
          3. Locate the campaign that you want to map in the campaigns table and select View from the action menu.
          4. Select the Related tab in the campaign record.
          5. In the Related tab, at the bottom of the campaign mapping card, click Finish mapping location.
Web Personalization Manager opens using the web site URL associated with the web connector defined for the campaign. Because you access Web Personalization Manager directly from the record, there’s no need to log in.
          6. Navigate to the desired web page, and locate the element on the webpage where you want the experience template values to appear.
          7. Click Select Element from the WPM Location tab, and then hover over and select the element on the page that you want to use.
          8. To preview the experience and validate the configuration, click Preview at the top of the website page.
          9. After you finish previewing the campaign, cancel the preview, and toggle the campaign state to Enabled.
          10. To go live with your campaign, click Save.
