Experiment Analytics

Experiment analytics summarize and visualize the measures you selected when you configured your experiment in Salesforce Personalization. Review participant totals, primary metric results, and performance charts to see whether the experiment has a clear winner.

• View Experiment Analytics
  Use the Analytics tab to control an experiment and view summary and detailed results in tables. Use the Data Visualization tab to compare variations against the control cohort in charts and summary cards, and see whether the experiment has a clear winner.
• Experiment Status and Controls
  The top of the dashboard provides status information for the experiment, along with controls for stopping, editing, or deleting the experiment.
• Experiment Summary
  The second section of the experiment dashboard shows the experiment summary metrics. These metrics provide participant totals for the control cohort and all variant cohorts. When compared against the control or against other variations (when no control is used), individual activity totals and lift values for each variant are provided as percent differences.
• Primary Metric Results
  The third section of the dashboard shows results specific to the primary metric selected for the experiment. Results for the primary metric determine the experiment's winner.
• Secondary Metric Results
  The last section of the dashboard shows results specific to any secondary metric selected for the experiment. These results show more information about individual activity related to the experiment, but don’t directly determine the experiment's winner.
• Visualizing Experiment Performance
  Review experiment performance, compare variations against your control cohort, and see whether the experiment has a clear winner. The Data Visualization tab shows you which variations won and which need more data or a revised strategy.

  Use the information in this section to supplement any experiment analytics errors.
