Before you set up personalization, complete the Data 360 configuration for your mobile app. These steps make sure your app sends the data personalization needs and that the connector is ready to deliver personalized content.

To configure a mobile app connection:

To integrate the SDK in your app code:
Access to mobile app code
Have the custom URL scheme for your app ready. You set this as the in-app URL on the connector during setup.
Identify the Data 360 connector for your mobile app.
Confirm your app targets a supported platform: iOS, Android, React Native, or Flutter.
Integrate and initialize the Salesforce Personalization module of the Marketing Cloud Unified Mobile SDK in your app.

Set up engagement data collection to send engagement data from your app to Data 360.
Set up profile data collection to send profile data from your app to Data 360.

Set the in-app URL on your Mobile App Connector.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Data Cloud Setup, and then select Data Cloud Setup.
Select Websites and Mobile Apps, and then select your mobile connector.
Select the Personalization tab.
For Mobile Preview Base URL, enter the custom URL scheme registered in your app (for example, myapp://personalization-preview).
Select Save.
After these steps, your mobile app connector is ready for personalization setup.
