Preview a Mobile Personalization Experience with a QR Code
Before you publish, preview a personalization experience in your mobile app by scanning a QR code. The QR code opens the experience directly in your app so you can confirm the rendering is correct.
The Mobile App Connector is configured in Data 360, and the Mobile Preview
Base URL is set on the connector using the custom URL scheme registered in
your app.
Note The QR code is valid for 5 minutes and refreshes automatically. If it expires, scan the new code.
On the Preview and Publish step, set the preview controls.
Field
Action
Personalization Decision or Cohort
Select a decision to preview content based only on that decision. If an experiment is defined on the personalization point, its cohorts appear at the top of the menu.
Individual ID
Enter an Individual ID to preview as that user. By default, the preview uses your current user.
Anchor Item
Enter an item ID to preview recommendations relative to that item. The anchor item is excluded from its own results.
Scan the QR code with your mobile device to open the preview in your app.
If needed, select Copy Link to copy the preview URL and open it manually on your device.
Navigate to the app screen that contains the content zone you're personalizing.
The experience renders in your app with the decision, individual, and anchor item you selected.
