Set Up RCS Agent
Configure an RCS agent for conversational messaging to make sure that you’re a verified sender.

Request an RCS Agent
Create an RCS business profile and select an engagement style to define how your brand interacts with customers.
- Provide accurate and valid information that reflects your brand.
- Upload a logo image of 224 x 224 px, maximum 50 KB, in .png or .jpg format.
- Upload a banner image of 144 x 448 px, maximum 200 KB, in .png or .jpg format.
- Prepare an RCS-compatible mobile device before launch for testing and verification.
- From Setup, enter RCS in the Quick Find box, and then select RCS Sender Agents.
- Click New RCS agent.
- In the Request RCS Agent window, click Add a new RCS agent.
- Select the country and traffic origin where you want to launch your agent, and then click Next.
- Review the guidelines for requesting an RCS agent.

Define your Billing Category.
- Select Conversational for two-way customer support or Non-Conversational for one-way alerts.
- Select the Agent Use Case to engage with your customers and click Next.
- Enter the brand name, and then select your hosting region.
- Enter the contact details, including phone number, website, and email address.
- Enter URLs for a privacy policy and terms and conditions.

Provide other details to preview your agent.
- Enter the display name that users see when interacting with your agent.
- Enter a brief description for the agent.
- Select the brand color for your agent's branding.
- Upload the logo image or provide a public image URL.
- Upload the banner image, add a public URL image, or use a merge field.
- Preview the RCS agent to see how it appears in a message.
- Submit your request.
You can track the status of this request in the Open Requests tab on the RCS setup page. Depending on the carrier, RCS agent approval takes about 3–14 days.
Add a Test Number
To preview your user experience with sample data, add a test number.
- On the RCS agent details page, go to the Testing tab and click Add Test Number.

Enter an RCS-compatible phone number where you can receive the invitation from the
Google RBM agent.
The phone number must include the country code to follow the E.164 format.
- Save your changes.
- To become a tester, you must accept the invitation to become a tester. After it’s accepted, refresh the screen to verify the status is Approved before sending a test message.
Send a Test RCS Message
After you add a test number and approve the connection, send a test message to validate your agent's configuration and preview the end-user experience.
- In the RCS agent details page, go to the Testing tab and click Send Test Message.
- Select the test number that you added.
- Select whether to send a simple text message or a rich card.
- Click Send Test Message.
Launch Your RCS Agent
After sending a test message, launch your RCS agent in the country where you plan to send messages. Then, you can set up consent, create RCS messages, and launch RCS campaigns. A live RCS agent can’t be modified, so make sure to verify the settings carefully.
- In the RCS agent details page, click Launch RCS Agent.
- Upload supporting media or documents based on the selected country. See Supported Countries and Compliance for more details.
- Enter your country-specific details including brand and contact details.
- Submit your changes.
You can’t change the RCS agent details after launching the agent. Contact Salesforce Support for any future modifications.
