          RCS Agent Requirements

To submit your RCS agent for review, provide a screenshot or website URL of the opt-in flow showing how the user consents to receive your RCS communications. You must also provide a video demonstrating the agent's features and active opt-out capabilities, such as a user sending the keyword STOP.

To comply with carrier requirements, provide specific documentation localized in Spanish to make sure that your RCS agent is approved. This includes:

          • A detailed sender description that outlines the intended use of the campaign, such as updates on scheduled moves, real-time alerts, or special offers.
          • A detailed explanation of the flow describing the user journey along with sample messages with clear opt-out language.

You can submit all RCS senders in Mexico as multi-use. To avoid future approval delays, include samples for both transactional and promotional messaging in your application.

          Note
Note If Telcel is your carrier network, define the frequency and timing for all outgoing promotional messages to remain compliant with local regulations. Avoid sending messages outside of business hours.

          Restricted Content

You're responsible for complying with local rules and regulations. To ensure compliance, familiarize yourself with the legislation of the local market. Failure to comply can result in service suspension, cancellation, and potential fines. Mexico generally forbids content related, but not limited to, these products and services:

          • Adult
          • Alcohol
          • Gambling
          • Political
          • Religion
          Note
Note Don't send messages during local business hours (UTC-06:00).
