A 10-Digit long code is a standard 10-digit local phone number used for messaging in the United States. Regulated by The Campaign Registry (TCR) and major U.S. carriers, 10DLC allows businesses to route high-volume text messages using a local area code to maintain a consistent geographic brand identity. Message throughput is determined by a Trust Score assigned during an independent review of your brand registration.
To use 10DLC, you must complete a mandatory two-part compliance registration process. First, complete the Brand Registration by providing your legal business details, such as your U.S. Employer Identification Number (EIN). Second, complete the campaign registration by submitting your messaging use case, a privacy policy website explicitly stating that customer mobile data is not shared, and sample messages that include clear brand identification and opt-out instructions.
