Upload India DLT Headers and Templates

Before you begin, complete these requirements.

          • Register your brand and obtain a 19-digit PEID from a DLT operator, such as Vodafone, Jio, or Airtel.
          • Verify that your PEID is correctly associated with your account.
          • Download your approved headers and templates from the DLT portal.
          • Prepare a .csv file that contains these exact column headers: Template ID, Template Name, Type, Header, Template Message, Approval Status, and Status.
          • Format the .csv filename to start with your 19-digit PEID. For example, 1107161234500010_templates.csv.
          1. From Setup, use the Quick Find box to find and select India DLT Headers & Templates.
          2. Click Upload DLT Templates.
          3. Select the appropriate business unit, workspace, and CMS folder where you want to store your template.
          4. To upload the DLT template, click Upload Files or drag the file.
          5. When the progress shows 100%, click Done.
          6. Verify that your DLT templates appear in the selected CMS folder.
          7. To activate your headers, go to the SMS Codes page and click Request Code.
          8. Select India as the country and select Headers as the code type.
          9. Review the list of headers automatically detected for your PEID, and then click Finish.

Your headers appear in the SMS Codes page as Active. You can now select these headers when you draft an India SMS campaign. See Create an SMS Message from a DLT Template for more details.
