SMS Code Provisioning Guidelines
Use a custom alphanumeric code with an international long code set up for one-way sending marketing or transactional sends. Manage opt-outs with a web link or customer preference center. Alphanumeric codes must be associated with the brand, enterprise, product, or service. These codes can include only alphanumeric characters or spaces. Local carriers must approve and allowlist all local alphanumeric code requests before you can send messages. Register separate alphanumeric codes for marketing and transactional sends. All messages must contain the enterprise, service, or brand name in the message content. Send all marketing messages from 7 AM to 7 PM (GMT+02:00).
Local enterprises register with an NOC letter, a local Egypt trade license (valid for at least one month) and a copy of a tax card. Print all letters on corporate letterheads, then sign, date, and rubber-stamp them.
