SMS Code Provisioning Guidelines

Use a custom alphanumeric code with an international long code set up for one-way sending marketing or transactional sends. Alphanumeric codes must be associated with the brand, enterprise, product, or service. These codes can include only alphanumeric characters or spaces. All messages must contain the enterprise, service, or brand name in the message content.

Local enterprises register with an international SMS code request form and an Israel long code request form.

You’re responsible for complying with local rules and regulations. To ensure compliance, familiarize yourself with the legislation of the local market. Failure to comply can result in service suspension, cancellation, and potential fines. Israel generally forbids content related, but not limited to, these products and services:

  • Adult
  • Drugs
  • Gambling
  • Politics

You can't send SMS messages to kosher mobile numbers, which use a combination of a kosher mobile phone and kosher SIM card. These phones received rabbinical approval and can only make and receive voice calls. Ensure that your contact list don't include kosher numbers as indicated by these exclusive number ranges:
