Entity Types
Select the legal entity type that matches your official government tax.
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Corporation | A standard "Inc." or "Corp." entity that operates as a legal person separate from its owners. |
| Government | Any federal, state, local, or tribal government organization. |
| Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) | A hybrid structure that combines limited liability protection with the tax flexibility of a partnership. |
| Non-Profit | An organization that operates for collective or social benefit, such as a 501(c)(3) charity. |
| Partnership | A business that two or more people own and operate together to share profits and liabilities. |
| S-Corporation | A specialized corporation that passes corporate income, losses, deductions, and credits through to shareholders for federal tax purposes. |
| Sole Proprietorship | A business that one individual owns and runs with no legal distinction between the owner and the entity. |
Program Types
Select the category that best describes the intent and purpose of your messaging traffic.

|---|---|
| Standard | For-profit marketing, informational alerts, or transactional traffic, providing optimal carrier delivery speeds for commercial messaging. |
| Charitable Organization | Registered 501(c)(3) non-profit entities, which unlock reduced carrier pass-through fees for donation campaigns. |
| Government | Public service or emergency safety broadcasts, which receive the highest tier of carrier prioritization during high-traffic windows. |
| Political | Use for political parties or Political Action Committees (PACs). Requires a Campaign Verification (CV) token and 527 tax-exempt details of your political organization. |
Short Code Types
Select your preferred format for your 5-to-6-digit short code.
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Random | A 5–6 digit number assigned by the Registry. Best for standard messaging that doesn't require a specific number. |
| Vanity | A number that you select for brand recall. For example, 56678. You can provide several options. Only codes with 2–9 as the first digit are publicly available. If your preferred code is taken, the registry offers 5667X, where "X" represents any available number. |
