Remove MCP Servers from API Catalog

Remove MCP Servers from API Catalog

You can remove custom Salesforce, MuleSoft, and manually registered external MCP servers from API Catalog.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Developer, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions
          1. To make sure that an MCP server is eligible to remove, follow these steps.
            1. For a Salesforce custom server, deactivate the server in API Catalog.
            2. For a MuleSoft MCP server, remove the server’s consumer endpoint in Anypoint API Manager. Removing the endpoint prevents API Catalog from syncing the MCP server into API Catalog again.
            3. Remove tools from the server that are part of Salesforce automations.
          2. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter API Catalog, and then select MCP Servers.
          3. Select either the External Servers or Salesforce Servers tab, depending on the type of server to remove.
          4. In the MCP server list, for the MCP server to remove, select Remove.
